ABOUT THE ARTIST

Britton Edwards is a 2003 graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts with a concentration in Illustration. Shortly after graduation, she received a scholarship to attend The Illustration Academy which gave her the opportunity to study with some of the top Illustrators in the industry.

Since then, she worked as a graphic designer and has been published numerous times. She even got a chance to work on a couple of movie productions filmed locally. Examples include "Fact Fiction and Folklore in Harry Potters World" by George Beahm, cover art for "The Truth about Medium" by William Simon and Gary Schwartz, design work for the cast and crew of The New World starring Colin Farrell, and prop art for the HBO miniseries John Adams directed by Tom Hanks.

She currently resides in central Virginia and freelances as often as she can. "I'm always excited about new commissions! Art has always been my passion. Please feel free to contact me to get a quote or with any questions you may have."
